The world of remastered; a blast to the past...

For those that grew up in a world of consoles, going back to experience classic games from when we were little brings us back to a time where life was simple. Well, what would you say if I told you many of our favourite games are now in process/or have been upgraded. We can escape reality once more!

For background, my first console was a PlayStation 2, a relic of the 2000's. Through this, I grew a connection with my mum; where we would sit and play classic games such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and Rayman.  As I got older, I moved onto games with more mature games with my dad such as The Last of Us, Uncharted and Until Dawn. Both categories of these games shaped me to the person I am today and bring me back to moments of peace and tranquility, a hideout from the busy life that comes with adulthood. 

Many of the classic games I grew up with have been altered to be supported on new generation consoles, for myself, the PlayStation 5. I have been able to experience these games once more, and gain a new level of enjoyment and appreciation due to this. Whilst I can also enjoy games that were once my childhood, I would love to experience games which were part of other peoples lives growing up, and are their comfort when needing a break.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I would love to broaden my game library and experience new pathways and storylines. Who knows, maybe one of these will take spot on my totally bias best game league!
